JATI SIDHU
MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR MISSION – MATSQUI – FRASER CANYON
A first-time Member of Parliament, and the first ever for Mission—Matsqui—Fraser Canyon, Jati Sidhu entered politics after many years of community activism and volunteer service. Jati is a successful entrepreneur who immigrated to Canada to build a life for himself and his family. Over a span of almost 30 years, he built a berry empire before eventually serving as President of Greenvale Enterprises, and is the former CEO of the Sidhu Group, which focuses on housing and long-term business development.
Besides his duties as a Member of Parliament, Jati also serves on the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development (FAAE). A dedicated family man, he lives with his wife Surinder, and has three grown children and three grandchildren. He also enjoys going for walks—or runs, depending on their mood—with his two German Shepherds, Jackie and Diesel.
